18th Asian Games: Sudha Singh wins silver in women’s 3000m steeplechase

Asian Games 2018: Veteran Indian long-distance runner Sudha Singh on Monday clinched a silver in women’s 3000m steeplechase event in the Jakarta, Asian Games.

Sudha has an individual best of 9:26.55. While her seasons best is 9:39.59, which she came up with during the National Inter-State Championships in June.

Sudha clocked 9 minutes 40.03 seconds to win her 2nd Asian Games medal.

Winfred Yavi of Bahrain took the gold in 9:36.52 while Thi Oanh Nguyen of Vietnam win the bronze in 9:43.83.
